Some Strange Laws in the United States
During ancient times, the laws, rules, and regulations in a country or a region were written by kings or heads of a country. Mostly, the wish of an autocratic ruler can be turned into a law in his own kingdom. So, most people do not have the choice but to follow and obey the law, no matter how strange it is.
There are many strange laws in various countries. For instance, dying in the Houses of Parliament is strictly prohibited. If you think that’s strange enough, look at some of these laws in the different states of America that you may find “strange”.
• If you love eating lollipops, then you might want to forget about this when you visit the state of Washington, for lollipops are banned in said state.
• If you wish to visit Texas, do not be shocked to find out if there’s no Encyclopedia Britannica, for it is banned in entire state because it includes the formula on how to make beer from home.
• Killing a squirrel using a gun within the courtroom of Canton in the state of Mississippi is strictly not allowed.
• A person with mustache is prohibited to kiss a woman in public area of Iowa
• A motorist who has a criminal intention is required to call the Chief of Police once that person enters the state of Washington.
• If you fell asleep or want to lie down, make sure you do not do it inside a cheese factory in the state of South Dakota for it is also prohibited by the law.
