Have you decided where your dream honeymoon vacation should be? Have you thought about the beautiful island of Hawaii? Many people who think of this option look for Hawaii honeymoon vacation packages. But is a Hawaii honeymoon vacation package the best option?
Hawaii has always been a dream honeymoon spot for my wife & I. Hawaii has something for everyone. Not only do you have the beach where you could relax, but you also have all different excursions you can take. When you go to Hawaii there are a couple things that you must try. The most important in my opinion is a Luau. Then if you are more adventurous I would recommend surfing and hiking up to one of their waterfalls which some excursions even let you jump in. If you want more of the laid back atmosphere, I would recommend going to one of the beaches with different color sands. I have never seen beaches as beautiful as the ones in Hawaii.
I have recently come back from my honeymoon in Maui were we ran into many other honeymooners who bought Hawaii honeymoon vacation packages and many other who did not buy the package. My wife and I are very friendly so we meet many of these couples and talked with many of them for a while.
After talking to them and learning a little bit about them, we ended up discussing the pricing of our vacations and what was included in the Hawaii honeymoon vacation packages we each purchased. We ended up hearing all sort of packages, with many different options. Some packages came included with meals, airfare, hotel, transportation, a luau show, etc. Other came with tours, dinner on the beach, flowers on the bed, etc. And everyone paid very different prices for their Hawaii honeymoon vacation packages.
We also talked about the pricing with the people who did not buy any Hawaii honeymoon vacation packages. Each of them had their own reason. Some was because they found a better deal if they bought it separate, others used credit cards points, and some received the honeymoon as a wedding gift.
We decided not to buy the Hawaii honeymoon vacation packages for several reasons. The main reason was because we were able to find cheaper prices if we bought them separately. And the second reason was because, we didn’t want to have anything setup before we got there. Such as dinner reservation, tours, etc. The reason for this is that most of the time when you are buying a package you are not getting the best tour or eating at the best restaurant, but paying the same prices.
Amazingly after finding out the prices that most of the people paid to go on their honeymoon, we found out that we ended up paying, between 20% – 40% less than most of these people there. I was amazed that some simple strategies I learned a few months back were saving me that much. I had never compared the prices I paid on my vacation until now.
